The corporation “Green-PIK” was founded in 1989 in Kovrov, Vladimir region. Nowadays it unites 22 enterprises. The stock capital consists of 5 million shares belonging to 75 thousand shareholders from the majority of Russian regions. “Green-PIK” mission is to produce food of exclusive quality based on ecological agriculture. The agricultural production occupies the territory over 46 thousand hectares of cultivated lands in Kovrov, Suzdal and Gus-Khrustalny regions.
A group of Russian scientists under direction of Doctor of Medicine, Professor A.M. Igonin has been working out effective methods of vermicultivation for more than 20 years. In 2000 the corporation “Green-PIK” founded the biotechnological experimental laboratory. By 2003 scientists and businessmen has joined together their efforts providing the establishment of modern technology of industrial vermicultivation being ahead of the world progress. It solves a global problem of soil fertility improvement and meets national requirements in products of exclusive quality. The ecology, quality, innovations and cooperation form are the basis of “Green-PIK-300” Purpose-Oriented program.
The main driving force of “Green-PIK-300-ecological agriculture” Program is private industry as a basis of responsible business management. Participation in the Program helps regional businessmen master a new branch more quickly. Unrivalled fusion of “Green-PIK” vermicultivation technology benefits, its social significance and economical efficiency show excellent results to every beginner.
The corporation “Green-PIK” does not encroach upon Program participants’ private property; on the contrary, they become shareholders of the Company and have advantages of other partners in the market. This approach provides a reasonable consideration of businessmen interests: the more you contribute to the common cause, the more you get for your private industry. “Green-PIK” shares are Company asset-backed shares and they form a loan base to make deals.
Consumers also have an opportunity to join the Program: “Green-PIK” shareholders with 10 shares are given extremely high discounts. Shareholders buy production wholesale through dealers!
One of the major tasks of the Program is to access every Russian region, up to individual consumer, to transform new products into goods of daily demand. Having that goal in mind we are planning to create “Green-PIK” bases in all agricultural regions of Russia to organize work with producers, dealers, wholesalers and retailers as well as end consumers.
All the above-mentioned proves that the “Green-PIK” Program is unique: for the first time in Russia a non-governmental project is based on association of share capital, private business, interests of investors and scientists, producers and consumers, territorial subdivisions, regions, the Russian Federation and society on the whole. We are also supported by the International Community concerned with global ecological project realization.
