Humistar has a beneficial effect on growth, metabolism and photosynthesis and increases yields of agricultural crops. The fertilizer contains all vermicompost components in solution: humates, fulvic acids, amino acids, vitamins, natural phytoharmones, micro- and macro-elements, and spores of soil microorganisms. The fertilizer possesses bactericidal properties due to bacteriostatic protein secreted by earthworm body tissue as well as antibiotics secreted by symbiotic microorganisms in the earthworm gut in the process of vermicultivation.
Humistar is a dark-brown odorless liquid. The fertilizer has a faintly alkaline reaction (рН 8.5-9.5). The fertilizer is safe and harmless for people and animals, as well as for soil microfauna and microflora.
Use the fertilizer for soil dressing as well as for sprinkling leaves. Water plants once or twice during vegetation, and prolonged action of vermicompost applied is complemented and intensified, due to water soluble substances assimilated by plants immediately after application. Sprinkle plants with water diluted fertilizer and it helps eliminate different plant diseases.
The fertilizer is effective when growing tomatoes and cucumbers under cover. Incidence of such diseases as root rot, black stem and mildew is dramatically reduced.
The fertilizer is effective when growing potato, grains and grain legumes, beet, carrot and other crops. It is beneficial for product quality. Nitrates are reduced in vegetables, fruits and forage grasses, and the amount of proteins, sugar and vitamins increases.
When growing ornamental flowers, fruits and berries the fertilizer provides better seedling, cutting and transplant rooting ability and establishment, increases flower output and quality.
